Definitions

Womb: the uterus, the organ where a baby develops. 

Also: a place where something is generated or conceived. 

Pronunciation alert: Womb rhymes with “boom” (not “bomb”).

The state of Alabama voted this month to effectively ban abortions. Other (male-led) US states are passing similar laws. 

Is it just us, or does the future look surprisingly similar to the middle ages?

Pro: Outlive men by an average of 5 years. 
Con: 5 years of freedom is not enough.

Pro: Sometimes get maternity leave. 
Con: Earn 20% less than men for doing the same job. 

Pro: Physically able to create life. 
Con: Legally unable to decide what to do with her own.
