  • A difference or disparity (between groups)

Gaps in the news

This month, Iceland tries to close the gender pay gap, making it illegal to pay men more than women for the same job.

First your fancy furniture, then your delicious smoked fish, now gender equality? Scandinavia, you’re making us look bad again.

Infamous Gaps

Wealth gap: 1% of the world population controls 82% of global wealth.

Health gap: 90% of preventable deaths occur in Developing Countries, while 10% of health research is devoted to them.

Gender gap: On average, women earn 32% less than men for the same work.

50% of the population are women, deserving 100% respect. Bridge the gap.

Fill in the Gaps
