In America.<\/p>\n<p>An Astronaut is just like a Cosmonaut: identical, but superior in every way.<\/p>\n<h3>Examples:<\/h3>\n<p>In April 2011, the 50th anniversary of Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin\u2019s 1961 flight into space was celebrated with this special rendition of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WM5H1KthhUU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Soviet National Anthem<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Comedian <strong>Coluche<\/strong> called Gagarin \u201cthe unluckiest man on earth: he flew around the world 17 times and landed back in the USSR.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The space race was finally won by the US when musician Louis Armstrong walked on the moon in 1969.<\/p>\n<h3>Fun Facts:<\/h3>\n<p>Gagarin was the first human in space, but not the first <a href=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/thumb\/b\/b9\/Baker.jpg\/317px-Baker.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">animal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/c\/c9\/Laika.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laika<\/a>, a dog, flew on the Russian shuttle Sputnik2 four years before Yuri. She died in space.<\/p>\n<p>After his trip to space, this <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.gymglish.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/8108e-chimp-ham-monkey-astronaut-grawitz-tumor.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monkey<\/a> said \u201cThey told me I was going back to the jungle!\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Also:<\/h3>\n<p>Yuri Gagarin is one of many Russians who made the motherland proud.
