Ex: We should probably nuke them before they nuke us.<\/p>\n<h3>A Brief History of \u201cClub\u00a0Nuke\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>Roosevelt launches the club in 1945. Stalin joins in 49, Churchill in 52, a fashionably-late De Gaulle in 60. Mao pops by in 64.<\/p>\n<p>In the 70s, India, Pakistan, and Israel show up without an invite. Now North Korea wants in, and they say they\u2019ve got <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gymglish.com\/images\/wom\/NO-GG-lemonde-WOM-nuke-kim-jong-un.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nukes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Nuclear Nonsense<\/h3>\n<p>The result of a nuclear explosion is called a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gymglish.com\/images\/wom\/NO-GG-lemonde-WOM-nuke-bomba_atomowa.gif\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>mushroom cloud<\/strong><\/a>. It is neither a mushroom nor a cloud.<\/p>\n<p><strong>War games<\/strong> simulate the dangers of nuclear attacks, in a way that\u2019s fun for the entire family.<\/p>\n<h3>Nuclear Nuggets<\/h3>\n<p><strong>To nuke<\/strong> is also a slang term for using a microwave. Nuking a frozen burrito is a 5-star meal in the US.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t confuse nukes with <strong>puke<\/strong> (vomit), <strong>flukes<\/strong> (whale fins) or <strong>spooks<\/strong> (ghosts).
