-Originated in Internet chatrooms as a way to label conversation topics. #nerds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Introduced to microblogging site Twitter in 2007. #billionairenerds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Now used everywhere by everyone, including your mother. #weareallnerds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tag<\/strong> is a game<\/a> in which kids aggressively chase and slap each other. #childrenarethefuture<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hash Trivia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The # symbol is called hash<\/strong> in the UK, but pound<\/strong> in the US. Meanwhile the British use pounds instead of dollars. #anglologic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
