Shrink<\/strong> (noun): Slang term for a psychiatrist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example: I\u2019m seeing a shrink because my self-esteem has shrunk.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Irregular verb alert! I shrink \/ she shrank \/ they have shrunk<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shrinking in the news<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Global wildlife populations are shrinking<\/strong> rapidly. Biologists are calling it Earth\u2019s 6th mass extinction event (#5 was the dinosaurs dying).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Species at risk: lions, salamanders, sea cucumbers, etc. Everything really, but cockroaches<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things that shrink<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Polar ice caps<\/strong>. They\u2019re shrinking, we\u2019re sinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump\u2019s approval ratings<\/strong>. But his golf swing is tremendous!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our genitals<\/strong>. This water is freezing. That\u2019s our excuse anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attention spans<\/strong>. We\u2019re surprised you made it this far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to save the planet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Shrink the population<\/strong>. Wanna buy a one-way ticket to Mars?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shrink our appetites<\/strong>. Fewer burgers = more iceberg(er)s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

See a shrink<\/strong>. At least we\u2019ll be mentally prepared for our extinction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
