&#8211; verbunden durch <em>&#8220;and&#8221; <\/em>\u2013 die <em>Zehner- und Einerzahlen.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Einige Beispiele:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>1142: <\/strong>one thousand one hundred and forty-two<\/li><li><strong>2371: <\/strong>two thousand three hundred and seventy-one<\/li><li><strong>10.650: <\/strong>ten thousand six hundred and fifty<\/li><li><strong>12.300: <\/strong>twelve thousand three hundred<\/li><li><strong>40.897: <\/strong>forty thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven<\/li><li><strong>100.000: <\/strong>one hundred thousand<\/li><li><strong>120.400: <\/strong>one hundred twenty thousand four hundred<\/li><li><strong>1.000.000: <\/strong>one million<\/li><li><strong>1.000.000.000: <\/strong>one billion<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Achtung: Die englische Zahl <em>billion <\/em>entspricht der deutschen Milliarde, nicht der Billion!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Englische Zahlen: die Ordnungszahlen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gymglish.com\/de\/gymglish\/englische-grammatik\/ordinal-numbers\">Ordnungszahlen<\/a> sind Zahlw\u00f6rter, mit denen sich etwas ordnen und in einer Reihenfolge sortieren l\u00e4sst, zum Beispiel Erster, Dritter oder Zwanzigster.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Englischen m\u00fcssen daf\u00fcr nur die ersten drei Formen auswendig gelernt werden (f\u00fcr die Einerzahlen 1 bis 3), denn alle weiteren Ordnungszahlen werden einfach gebildet, indem an die Einerzahl die Endung &#8220;<em>th<\/em>&#8221; Zuerst wird die Grundzahl vor dem Punkt genannt, dann folgt das Wort <em>&#8220;point&#8221;<\/em> (seltener auch <em>&#8220;dot&#8221;<\/em>) und die Kommastelle selbst.
